REALMWALK is a producer and artist operating at the intersection of sound design, electronic composition, and narrative architecture. The project explores the boundaries between the digital substrate and lived experience — each release a transmission from a different coordinate in the signal space.

The REALITY ENGINE is the first full-length document of these transmissions: a series of sectors, each encoding a discrete memory fragment from a constructed world. Listeners are invited not merely to hear the record but to recover it, piece by piece, from the archive in which it has been sealed.

The project operates without a fixed genre designation. If the signal reaches you, you were meant to find it.

The mystery is the fun part, but on this one point I step out of character and speak plainly, as a person, not as REALMWALK.

The music is 100% human-made. Every note, sound, and arrangement is written, performed, and produced by me. No generative AI touches the audio. Not the composition, not the sound design, not anywhere. Ever.

The album art is human too. Every cover and release image is made by hand, with no AI.

I am also a professional software engineer with roughly 15 years of coding experience. The website and its tools are mostly programmatically generated. The dithering, the fractals, the digital rain, the terminal effects are computed by code, not AI-generated images. Some of that code implements well-known public algorithms (fractals, for one), some I wrote myself, and I had direct design control over all of it, with AI as a coding assistant. Where the site does use AI-generated imagery, it is limited to decoration.

The puzzle design and the lore are mine. I wrote dozens of pages of lore by hand and used AI only to help organize it and check spelling and grammar, not to write it. I have spent over a hundred hours designing this ARG, AI assistance and all.

I believe art and music should be human. I believe building software is a different kind of work. I lean on AI in my day job because the field expects it now, and this project is part of reclaiming those tools for something personal and non-corporate. REALMWALK lives in the space between, using the tools without losing the soul of what makes this a human piece of art.
